The Path2Green Awakened (P2GA) is a faith-based training initiative offered through the AU/UGA Medical Partnership’s National Training and Research Collaborative (NTC). P2GA is an award-winning resilience training based on a medical program developed through emerging research in positive psychology, neuroscience, systems biology and spiritual mentorship, supporting well-being on demand. People of all ages, walks of life and cultures have benefited from the Path2Green, and its spiritual companion, The Hidden Life Awakened, a true story of healing into wholeness.

P2GA is a spiritual approach that will enable you to gain greater power over your choices “to transform through the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:1-2)”. P2GA certificate training focuses on neurosculpting greater well-being for improved resilience and transformational growth.
Upon completion of this innovative training, you will receive manuals, worksheets, and tips for how to use them with your family, congregations, lay teams, youth and men’s/women’s groups, leadership teams, clergy and faith-based health care networks. P2GA is the perfect complement for any ministry. It is an incomparable stand-alone program to implement in your home, work or place of worship for individual/group coaching and teaching personalized health and spiritual well-being.
What to expect from Path2Green Awakened training

A spiritual approach that will enable you to gain greater power over your choices leading to transformational well-being. As neural pathways grow, it may be easier for you to choose inner states of well-being.

Meditative sections of Inspiration, Illumination, and Installation,* grounded in positive neuroscience and Christian scriptures for encouragement.

Formation and empowerment of well-being habits through assessment of your core strengths and training in how your micro-choices can affect your personal health and sense of satisfaction.

Understanding of well-being as your capacity to withstand or recover quickly from difficulties. You will learn simple practices to shift your responses when feeling blocked, anxious, or annoyed in order to become inspired, calm and peaceful.

Learning to savor the power of positive emotion to be more content, hopeful and satisfied.

Why is it so difficult
to direct ourselves toward uncertainty?

God knows this need. Fall, Winter,

These are His changing things.
ILLUMINATION
There is within us all this strong desire for the freedom to live and be whole, but it takes enormous courage and discipline to make the choice to trust God and do the difficult work this requires. Taking those initial steps toward change can be so frightening and painful that we often quit before we have a chance to experience any healing. The old voices in our head tell us it won’t work, things will only get worse, and we’re wasting our time. The new voice in our heart tells us that if we don’t change, we won’t grow. So, dare to let go, trust God, and make the choice to change, regardless of how hard it is.
Change and growth are synonymous. We have a choice, and our choice is critical because it is either life giving or life draining. Failure to dare to change keeps us trapped in old behavior pat- terns that obviously haven’t worked, so why not take a chance on trust? Old behavior patterns are so hard to break because they are deeply rooted in our childhood wounds. The more we develop new behavior patterns, though, the easier the work becomes, and we slowly begin to see our life bear fruit. We feel better physically, so we begin to feel better emotionally. When we feel better emotionally, our self-esteem and self-confidence begin to spark within us a new desire for life.
INSTALLATION
“As my perceptions changed, everything around me began to change. It happened very, very slowly, though, because to change my way of thinking and living, I had to return and return and return to the Source to help me find my way. I had to ask over and over for a new way of seeing and reflect on it again and again. God was so gracious and so merciful. I looked back one day and realized that change had begun to happen. Gradually, the physical and the emotional parts of my being began to come together. I was slowly waking up to life.”
P2GA Shift and Activate

Practice “renewing your mind” by shifting your focus to your inner being (Romans 12:1-2).
Begin this Path2Green Shift and Activate technique:
Step 1. Close your eyes if it feels comfortable to you…
and notice what you’re feeling in your body…………
scan your face………your shoulders……….your heart………your solar plexus……….just noticing…………….
right arm…….left arm……right leg……left leg……Focus your attention in the area of your heart…..perhaps even feeling the beating of your heart…….
from the front side…….from the back side….. from the right side and from the left side……………..
Step 2. Imagine your breath can flow directly through your chest wall and into your heart……
Slowing your breath……….. deepening your breath…….inhaling
1……..2……..3…..….4………….exhaling 1……… 2………3………4……….repeat for several
breaths….gently, comfortably, easily at a slow pace…… (for 3-4 breaths).
